clarification

I didn’t do a very good job explaining the study that I’ll be entering. It’s not a comparison of others like me, it’s a comparison of the genetic mutation on the DNA strand of the tumor against the world literature. So, the drugs that have been developed for the specific genetic problem will be recommended. When I asked if what the chance would be of it coming back with no recommendations, my doctor looked at me incredulously and said, “None.”

The fight, then, is definitely getting personal. YAY!

What a good reminder to us all that cancer research has come so far. God bless all the researchers, technicians, doctors, financial supporters. And God bless you, Tasha, and your family.

sorry bout this but, I had the wackiest bible school song pop into my head as I was thinking about you! I don’t know if you sang it but it was:
“God sees the little sparrow fall, it meets His tender view, if God so loves the little birds, I know He love me too… HE LOVES ME TOO,
HE LOVES ME TOO, I KNOW HE LOVES ME TOO!!
If God so loves the little birds, I know He loves me too”. I don’t know why that comforted me so much but I pictured this genetic test, its importance, you and your sweet family, and I know it fits this song. May His tender view and smile rest on you :) love you so much, Kokey
~apologies for how my simple mind works. lol
